24 Hr Comic Challenge

Read from bottom to top!

Read from bottom to top!

Well, here are my pages for the 24 hr. I ended up doing it all digitally, and kids when you are drawing digitally make sure not to forget your ever important laptop charger. I drove back to Denver then back up to Boulder to grab it. So I lost about two and a half hrs. I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out for a 24. Loved the crowd we had and I think everyone had a good time. On to pages.

Page work

Here is a comparison between pencils and inks done by me.
The previous inker on the book didn't match well with me so we asked him to leave, I feel really bad but no one was out of money and I just didn't work well with him. So here we are. I'm still working on more Skeptic stuff, but that I can't show you so here are things I can show you. At least I think I can. It'll be down if I can't. Haha!

Space Cowboy

Still haven't seen Cowboys and Aliens. Drew this between pages, been drawing so many damn panels lately I needed a little doodle break. There are a few subsequent pages before this came about but nothing worth showing. Maybe ink this sometime. Maybe not. H

I didn't ask Jay for permission...

....but here are my roughs to page 12 which is the left side of the double page spread below. Some tweaks were made, others still need to be made. The never ending process continues. Or, well I guess it ends at some point, right now that seems far away...

Compare the two posts, let me know what you think. I thought the buildings were a bit skinny being connected so close, so I kinda pushed the space between the panels a bit further. Hope that isn't confusing.
